I don't think I really need to review the matches that occurred on Day 4. I think I am going to let the fans who watched those matches tell you their thoughts in 140 words or less. And in case you think I did not watch those matches, you need to slap yourself.
Radwanska v. Larsson
If you blinked, you probably missed it: Radwanska def. Larsson 6-0, 6-1. #ausopen

Terrific display from Aga Radwanska, who is still the slight favorite if her & Venus meet despite Venus' great form & thankfully no doubles.

Williams (V) v. Davis
Venus took the first set 6-2 after dropping the first two games. Six games straight for Venus Williams.

Not a match quote, but a smiling Venus always makes me happy

Williams (S) v. Zvonreva
Serena Williams has found tranquility: Rallies from three set points down vs Zvonareva to win 1st set 7-5. Few errors down stretch
— Christopher Clarey (@christophclarey) January 22, 2015
Serena Williams was down three set points. She has since won eight straight games. In other words, she is Serena Williams.

Match of the Day
Azarenka v. Wozniacki
Because women's tennis needs to be reminded why Victoria Azarenka is necessary
She's Back! @Vika7 Azarenka beats Wozniacki 64 62 for spot in @AustralianOpen 3R--> http://t.co/PLo9SrZhnP #AusOpen pic.twitter.com/VZtXMcBo4g

So we know #Caro can run well in a marathon match but can she hit, serve and volley just the same while doing it v #Vika? #AusOpen

I love this. When a player comes back and you are reminded of just how and why they are so good and why tennis missed them.

When Vika’s taking that ball up the line like that… good night.

Anyone who thinks women's #tennis is just a slugfest from the baseline should be watching this match -- volleys and forecourt play galore

Stosur v. Vandeweghe
Coco a set up over Stosur , girl can whack tennis ball ; big serve and powerful groundstrokes 💪🎾 6⃣-4⃣ #AusOpen #MericaGotTalent 👏
— Kelvin Gray (@0try) January 22, 2015
Sam Stosur just ran about 2 miles from side to side, ending with a crazy squash-eque passing shot that fooled Coco completely. Top level.
— Juan José Vallejo (@jjvallejoa) January 22, 2015
Sam Stosur won a major.

There were lots of other matches today and the results were as expected. Madison Keys came through a tough match against Casey Dellacqua and Muguruza had to battle hard against Hantuchova. After struggling in her first round match against Kirsten Flipkens, Dominika Cibulkova seems to be rounding into form, losing just 2 games against the always dangerous Pironkova. Petra Kvitova is doing a flying under the radar thing at the Open at this time as she is quietly making her way through the draw
As the tournament continues along, it becomes so much more evident how much the bottom half of the women's draw is suffering as a result of the top seeds being taken out. While many of the players who were responsible for those losses are still in the tournament, it does make the matches a lot less likely to attract fans of the women's game. That being said, who does not love a Cinderalla story. The Spin's team picks for Day 5 are below.
Lucie Hradecka vs Julia Goerges (GER)
Karolina Pliskova (CZE) [22] vs Ekaterina Makarova (RUS) [10]
Sara Errani (ITA) [14] vs Yanina Wickmayer (BEL)
Bethanie Mattek-Sands (USA) vs Simona Halep (ROU) [3]
Eugenie Bouchard (CAN) [7] vs Caroline Garcia (FRA)
Carina Witthoeft (GER) vs Irina-Camelia Begu (ROU)
Yaroslava Shvedova (KAZ) vs Shuai Peng (CHN) [21]
Zarina Diyas (KAZ) [31] vs Maria Sharapova (RUS) [2]
